This past weekend, I spent several hours off and on sitting in front of a tablet, pen, and the entire NFL schedule for the upcoming season. I went through each week, and picked winners based on how they matched up to one another in the game, as well as including outside influences- everything from the head coach all the way down to the weather in some cases. I took it real slow, one game at a time and tried to pick apart everything I knew. Once I had picked a winner for every single game, I went back and tallied the results and was quite suprised at what I found. I won't give it all away just yet, but I will tell you that my Super Bowl pick is the Bills vs. Giants, which doesn't seem too crazy, but some of the other teams that made the playoffs (or didn't) did. I also noticed that unlike last year, according to my picks, there will be a clear seperation between the good teams and the bad teams, and the NFC is in for a long year. I'll be back on Wednesday to post my complete results. I challenge all of you posers who think you've got nuts the size of grapefruits to do the same thing.
Maybe this will give you something else to discuss besides how sorry we look in preseason. I take preseason games with a grain of salt, I'm not interested in how the team does as a whole, just the individual performances. [Edited on 26/8/2003 by BlackandBlue] |

Here it is. Please note that I went through and picked every regular season game and who I thought would win each matchup. After tallying the victories, I feel like I\'m one step closer to my new home in the asylum.
