Bittersweet Victory.
Today was really bittersweet for me in the Saints' win. Today marked two years since my mother passed away. She wasn't the biggest of sports fans, but she would at least humor me when I talked about the Saints. I just couldn't keep the thought out of my head that she has met JoeSam in heaven and that he is teaching her all of the ins and outs of football and making her a Saints' fan. I would like to think she was sitting next to me watching the game today. God bless you, mom and Joesam, and God bless our Saints.

This might make you guys throw up in your mouths a little, but I threw on my brother's old Falcons jersey and watched them beat the Bears last night. Been just over a year since he passed away.

My Grandma, Grandpa on both sides, Mother & Father and quite a few aunts and uncles and friends haven't made it either.
Believe me... I feel your pain. God Bless. |
