Re: how loud was the Dome
That is good to hear that it was loud. The other teams will not be able to hear anything.

Re: how loud was the Dome
Loud AND messy. I'm still knocking glittey confetti out of my hair.
The yelling continued on 3 hours after the game throughout the CBD and French Quarter. People wearing Saints stuff could not stop yelling whenever they saw someone wearing Saints stuff. The French Quarter was nuts. And really, Giants fans represented well yesterday also. They showed up, dressed up, made noise, took the smack like men, and even partied afterward. But you could not hear someone 4 seats down from you yesterday, the Dome was so loud. |

Re: how loud was the Dome
Word is Chris Berman said Eli looked like he couldnt think. I dont know. From our seats, it just looked like the Giants O was in some sort of emergency contingency plan. I dont know if they were truly confused, or just trying to make their communication more clearly just yelling at each other point blank, but I do know the defensive players were pumped!

Man that is great to hear. I was at home but you could tell Eli was desperately trying to make adjustments and was not getting through to everyone. Teams are really going to have to work hard and script some good plays before coming here. This is what we want a place where other teams do not especially like to come to.

When the 12th player is on the field you have the odds on your side. The fans at the Dome will need to gargle salt water to help with their sore throats.

Re: how loud was the Dome
After the game on wwl, one lady called in talking about the 13th man and Bobby and Deke agreed that it sounded that loud, not just the 12th man but indeed the 13th too.

Re: how loud was the Dome
I've been to two games that were as loud as yesterday's. One was when LSU played ND back in the mid 90's at tiger stadium. The other was Bama's OT win over Arkansas in Tuscaloosa two seasons ago.
Even when it was a blowout, the fans were making it tough for Eli. |

I heard the "13th man" lady call in too. haha... She'd had a hurricane or two. Hebert is so patient with some of those goofball callers.
