Man, that was a blocked kick, nothing Carney could do about that. I will still take Carney any day on FG's 40 yards or less.

I understand where you are going with this post
The game was on the line and it was a missed kick but from what I could see the hold was slow and sloppy and as a direct result of that happening it looked like he had to studded-steep (hesitate) just before he kicked it and the defender got his hands on it can't blame this one him alone ![]() |

If you have been kicking footballs for a living for 20+ years, you should be able to easily kick that ball high on a straight line even if the ball is on the ground. And you don't need 3-4 steps.. your leg should be strong enough for that kick from a standing position.![]()

Whatever decision the Saints make on their starter, I hope that they keep them both on the team. There's a few teams that need a good kicker and both our kickers are good.
