My perfect postseason would be:

1) Domefield advantage throughout the playoffs
2) Divisional playoff win against the Chicago Bears (we owe them)
3) NFC Championship win over the Minnesota Vikings (owe them for 2 playoffs losses, too)
4) Super Bowl XLIV - Win over the Denver Broncos (tired of losing to Kyle Orton)

How about we start by just worrying about this weeks game.

Re: If the Saints did win the Superbowl...

I generally don't speculate beyond next week but OK I'll play. A Saints/Colts Superbowl would provide some nice sidebars. A Saints/NE Super Bowl would also be a treat.

But I think at this point in the season, the real question is, once we win the Super Bowl, will all the attention and distractions overwhelm us causing us to free fall as so many teams in the past, or do the Saints stay focused and position themselves for a second Super Bowl run.

I'm a fan, not a player. I don't have to WORRY about the games, just enjoy them.

You want to worry about them, feel free...

I am not worried, but I do believe in such a thing as sanity. Coach Payton even said, that it is too soon, to be talking about a superbowl. With everything he has achieved so far, I think I will respect the coaches opinion, and just concentrate on Miami. The team, not the city.

Re: If the Saints did win the Superbowl...

Aww cmon yall, its a fun question. We should've made it a poll. I love polls, you know. I'll take it one step further, and assume a BYE WEEK---- WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

-- Crazy huh? If we dont go, you're gonna blame me---hahahahaha...

Ok, hmmm. 1. Bears: definitely payback time--
knock them the **** out!

2. Remember how the 49ers fans just expected
to be there every year? I think I'd like to
send the 49ers home disappointed. Long
time feelings here from the 9'ers.

3. Colts would scare me, but man, they'd need
extra light bulbs for the score board for Saints
vs. Colts. But yeah, that would be my SB.

Thank you ARSAINT. After 38 years, you just made me realize something I never knew. Seriously. I -- dont -- have -- to -- WORRY about football. Is this for real? I have always thought, as a fan, it was my job to worry. So you're telling me that if I fail to worry--- the house wont fall down? My worry is not a bag of gris gris, is what you're saying. This crazy theory of yours is that they're gonna do what they're gonna do whether I worry or not? Wow! I guess that makes sense, because I've worried for years, and they still sucked. Are you sure? I dont want to lose 400-0. I'll try your theory out, but if we get behind, I'll go back to worrying.

I dont have to WORRY anymore. hmm.

I feel so free now.

Re: If the Saints did win the Superbowl...

Here is reality. The Saints are real and will definitely win their division and will be the #1 seed in the playoffs. This team is really, really good.

What happens in the playoffs is another story...I just wish they would act now like they've been there before...but after this year I'm predicting they will be able to do that.

Yeah....I said it.

I like it.
So far this season, the Saints have stumped on 3 media darlings: the Jets, the Giants, the Eagles. Next week they get another media darling in the Dolphins and their wildcat, then another media darling in Matty Gay, then another media darling in Brady and the Pats. Only media darlings left are the Minnesota Farves, the Bears, and the Colts. I really don't count the Broncos as media darlings because they were getting ripped all during the offseason and preseason and while they are now being recognized, they have not reached media darling status yet.

.. and as for "worrying" about the future, it's already been said: I am a fan, not a player. Let the coaches give the "one game at a time" speeches to the players.

'Cause the simple man pays the thrills, the bills and the pills that kill
