Brees is playing out of his mind right now. It's kind of funny; I followed him some when he was at Purdue, and I never would have imagined he would have so much success in the NFL. I'm glad for him and I'm happy for the Saints. They as well as their fans deserve the success - and I mean that sincerely. |

miami scares me more than most of the other teams we've played simply because of the unknown.....people fear what they dont understand. the wildcat is a new kind of offense that is run almost to perfection by the dolphins if this game is close the dolphins may have the advantage......fortunately the saints games have not been close and it doesnt look like the fins will offer anything defensively that we havent already destroyed |

We've got 2 safeties that play the run fairly well, but are something of a liability in coverage. We've got 2 CBs who are showing flashes of talent, but they're rookies so they lack experience. Then Will Allen, who is pretty inconsistent. So in short our secondary has been torched ALOT. Me, I'm an optimist so I'm always thinking. hey this is the the week that they finally get their act together. Good luck to you guys.... I've got to go eat now, though. |

I've also been noticing that each week they are gelling more and more and the ability is there for them to slow down the Saints, now will that happen? I'll get back to you around 7ish Sunday night. |

Re: Dolphins - wildcat
Wildcat reminds me of the old "Single Wing" we used to run at Pontchartrain: run/throw out of the same set - snap it short to the fullback; it was a beautiful thing when you worked it - and Miami is working it. At the end of the day, it just blocking, tackling, pitch and catch. If we dominate the line of scrimmage, like we've been doing, on both side of the ball, we will win.

Re: Dolphins - wildcat
What late again has said is exactly what the Dolphins are going to try and do. Loosen us up with the pass and hit us with the wildcat. Glad we have a new secondary this year. In the local paper today Jason Taylor said they respect Brees and our running game but with the off week he is tired of hearing all the crap about the Saints. I hope next week He gets more than an earful. We all know about JT being a good player I hope Bushrod is up to the task.

here is a video of sean payton talking about and analyzing a couple plays out of the wildcat formation.....remember, the biggest part of figuring out how to stop someone, is figuring out exactly what they are going to do
