Darren Sharper

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Defensive MVP anyone? 6 INT's three td's in only 6 games. When you do you think people would start looking for him to be up there in the convo?...

Re: Darren Sharper

If all this keeps up, we could have multiple pro-bowlers on defense. Thats right, I said defense.

Greer - Our 2nd best FA pick-up of 09
Sharper - Obvious
Porter - He's growing into an excellent CB
Vilma - A tackling machine

Porter is good. Very talented. Great at covering the longer throws. But, he still has some work to do on the shorter throws.

Re: Darren Sharper

Let's not forget Sharper would have had another pick 6 last week vs. Giants were it not called back on the Vilma penalty...

I've heard some of the talking heads already mention Sharper for DPOY...he's getting some notice.

Re: Darren Sharper

Great pick up by Loomis ... and some people around the league thought he was washed up, way to prove them wrong.

Re: Darren Sharper

Isn't Sharper due and extension by the next couple of games?

Re: Darren Sharper

As far as I can tell, he is the conversation. 6 picks, 3 TDs, 1/2 a sack, his 8 PDs are T-7th in the league (Greer is #2, Porter is #12)
