this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Na Brees is the face of the Franchise. You can't count on Reggie and fans know that. When he gets the ball I hold my breath cause more than likely we are losing yardage or maybe a gaining couple....

This isn't Reggie's team hell its my team, its your team, its all of our team who spent years of money, pain, and tears over they years.
To say Reggie's team or the face of the team is a slap in the face to Bree's. This whole team is NOTHING without Bree's. Reggie gets hurt we'll keep winning. Bree's gets hurt we are packing it in and calling it a season fella's. |

Re: Best SI Cover Ever! Reggie Soaring!
naaa, nobody's slapping Brees. Everybody knows Drew's the biggest wheel in
the machine. Being the "face of" the team, isnt the same as saying it's somebody's team. It just means you're the guy they put on the Fathead. Realistically, we have two "face of the team" guys. But of course we're lost without guys like Vilma, Sharper, Colston, Nicks, Stinchcomb. . . kinda like saying Mick is the face of the Stones, which is true. But the Stones would never have that sound w/o Keith's guitar. |
