2010 - Keep or Cut Reggie Bush.

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; His production doesn't match his salary. About $5 million per year for the top end role player he is is more than fair. If that's not good with him, I wish him well....

all reggie does is create mismatches for slower linebackers is right, and both the passing and running game would suffer with out him.

Please lets not turn this into a Reggie bash session. Man thats a lot of free agents next year. I just hate that there will be no cap next year. The Cowgirls will be the next Yankees.

The subject of the tread clearly states what its about. Essentially he's a 3rd string RB, who returns some punts and hasn't done that great of a job. I feel better with Roby doing the PR's at this point. How much he is going to make?

Re: 2010 - Keep or Cut Reggie Bush.

The question is can you really do without any of these guys or Reggie?
G Jahri Evans (RFA)
RB Pierre Thomas (RFA)
LT Jermon Bushrod (RFA)
RB Mike Bell (RFA)
LB Scott Fujita
SS Roman Harper
WR Lance Moore
FS Darren Sharper
LT Jammal Brown

Sorry Bush has to take a pay cut or he's gone. These guys have contributed more to Saints wins than Bush.

Maybe Darren Sharper. Otherwise, yeah we can replace any of the others.

MAYBE??? he gets a MAYBE??? You're kidding now right. He can have his check and Reggie's for what he has done in our secondary.

Yeah I shouldn't say maybe. Sharper is too old for a long term contract and it would be too expensive to keep signing him short term. I would keep Bush now that I think about it.

I am sure Pete Carroll would like a reunion with him in Seattle...if there is a good offer we should take it.
