IMO, bush will resign with the saints but for lower pay, mainly because i think the only job bush will have is with the saints. bush loves the saints and of course we love him and hate him. its more like a love-hate relationship. as much as anything bush will give up money if.. i mean "IF" he's smart enough.. also if drew was gave up some of his money to sign other players then why not bush. our players on our team are very generous. look at payton giving up some money of course he will get it back in the future. but if we have a big time free agent that we are willing to sign im sure bush will restructure. dont bag on me if im wrong but thats my input on it.. he is an asset. i just want him to improve and not be a one game wonder.

Re: 2010 - Keep or Cut Reggie Bush.

Here is some cap deals in 2009 to remember.

both Henderson and Stinch do not cash in on their new contracts until they make the final roster in 2010. I still am beating if cash is needed one if not both will not be on the team in 2010.

As for reggie I have to think he will be a saint and all the RB benifit from each other being on the field. I would like to see reggie work on his recieving skills more. Just keeping him on the field more.

IMO, Reggie would not make a good receiver. He's a runner and space guy. I'm happy with the 2-5 yard passes in space that act as an extended hand off.

I just wish they would put him back there with Roby on kickoffs. 2 men back deep that are real threats to go all the way can cut down on a lot of this directional kicking teams are doing forcing the return man to run 30 yards just to catch the ball.

The only area that we're not creative is on special teams. We do have some talent and motivated aggressive players, Although the blocking is killing us on any return package.

I think Bush was pretty lousy returning kicks at USC wasn't he?

Same type of player. He averaged about 10 yds a return but ran back 2 for TDs in '04. Couple of long ones. And an 84 yard return for TD on '05. Average until a big play emerges. I'll take that.

Bushrod's earned it already ... trade Brown and Bush and get some value for both while you can.
