You conveniently are forgetting the wild card game the Cards played at home, so that's 2 out of 3 playoff games played at home. Since your timeline is delimited by the 2005 Steelers, you also conveniently omitted the Colts who played 2 out of 2 playoff games at home in 2006 and ended up winning the SB.

You are also mixing SB winners with non SB winners. If you look at teams that reached the SB but lost it in that same timespan: the Eagles played 2 out of 2 at home; the Seahawks played 2 out of 2 at home; the Patriots played 2 out of 2 at home; the Bears played 2 out of 2 at home.
