Devery Henderson was nothing but speed when he came to the Saints and could not be relied upon to actually catch the ball. He was awful. If he hadn't had track star speed he would have been cuts years ago.
Now through coaching and hard work he is a dependable receiver who has also learned to help his quarterback. He comes back for the ball when Drew needs him to. That is a huge difference for this offense. |

I loved Devery since day 1. The thing about him is that he will make those incredible, amazing catches. "How did he catch that ball". Then the very next wide open, easiest pass in the world, not running just standing there and drops it. That is the most frustrating part.

I'm very proud of Devery and what he's added to this team this season.....
but, he still owes me for 7 remotes, 20 spilled beers, payments for anger management classes, and 4 cans of Grecian Formula 16. |
