New look saints vs panthers

Hey guys, just wanted to know if anyone else if excited for the Panthers to see the new look New Orleans Saints the coming sunday? If you remember to our first game with carolina last year, we couldn't run the ball, couldn't stop the run or pass. Then couldn't move the ball down the field when we were down so many points.

The big change this year.........

WE CAN - stop the run, stop the pass and run the ball and all very effectively.
I hope Payton pushes the run game this time to open up some lanes for brees and the long ball, get those panthers on their heels!!

If recent weeks tell us anything, if we can get ahead early and make them put the ball in Delhommes hands our secondary will show the haters yet again!!

WHO DAT!!

You bet. If you read the Panther forums you can get the sense that those guys and gals are still living in last year. They don't seem to understand the new look Saints and I guess you can't blame them for that.

Come Sunday afternoon. They'll get a chance to adjust their thinking.

After two weeks of 4 turnover ball I expect the Saints to tighten the ship. And without turnovers the kitties have little to...well, that's not true.. they have absolutely no chance in this game.

it seems to me every teams new plan is to blitz brees like crazy. i'd like to see more screen passes to counter this.

wouldn't you be living in last year if you were a *****-cat fan.....have you seen their record this year ...or the play of their QB...I always wanted Del Homme to start here before he left but he looks like he may be about done

The Panthers have all the room in the world to talk crap to us. 6 wins, to our 1, against each other for the last 4 seasons? I'm with Payton on this one, NEVER OVERLOOK ANYONE in the NFL. As I said in another post, the Panthers have been our nemesis, for the past 3 seasons. The only way to stop that, is to beat them. Rose colored glasses, should be set on the coffee table for this one. It's going to be a battle.

This is not going to be too easy. We still have Ellis and Fujita out and the Panthers can run the ball.

Yeah, can't take them lightly but I have seen Delhome sitting by himself, on the bench after a turnover, looking like a beaten man, totally dejected and with a look of despair and self-pity on his face. A couple of bad plays by him, forced by our defense should put him right back in that mode.
