Take the Saints and leave the 13.5 against Carolina?
This game is like a playoff game for Carolina. Carolina is 3-4 and getting back to .500 will be priority #1 for them. This is an excellent trap game. I for one would take Carolina and lay the 13.5 points. They are going to give us their best shot.
Hopefully I'm wrong but... stranger things have happened against these clowns. |

At 13.5 the great gambling heaven in Vegas will get tons upon tons laying the points for Carolina. Then when the Saints roll them by 17 Vegas will once again smirk as they count the Franklins.

We'll be fortunate to win. I'll take those points all day long.

Wow, are the Saints really 13.5 favorites? That seems a little high. This game should be an all out war. Plus Carolina is 3-1 in their past four games, yes I know two of those games was against Washington and Tampa Bay, but that win last week against Arizona was pretty convincing.

agree with Matt T. That sounds like an awfully high spread for a couple of teams that hate each other, and always have a street fight, regardless of records, standings, etc.
I dont give a rat what the Panthers record is, they come to play when they come to the Dome. And whenever they're having a good year, we usually do our best to crap in their guacamole, when we visit their house. Treat them like the threat they are. The only thing easy about them could be due to Delhomme's struggles, (as much as I hate to see a Breaux Bridge boy struggle) which could come into play. Can't wait to be in the Dome Sunday. I'm gonna yell like its 1987 and we're playing the 49ers. awesome avatar, Matt. I wonder who the lady is they modeled for the mardi gras posters, assuming she is a real person, and not just an artist's imagination? not that I would start trying to email her or anything, for one, she'd be about 50 by now. |
