Yes, he was a Saint. If i\'m not mistaken we drafted him. Best I remember, he too is a very hard hitter. I just went and checked. We drafted him in the 2nd round of the 1997 draft out of Ohio State.

There are some good \"names\" out there. I can\'t imagine every one of those guys are worse then what the saints have at that position now.
There is not a backup safety on the team right now that will be on the team in 2 years much less next year so why not bring in some of these experienced guys for backups if nothing else. At least with their experience they would know where they are suppose to be and how to get there. |
