Friday injury report
METAIRIE, La. (AP) -- Saints cornerback Jabari Greer will sit out his first game this season when New Orleans visits St. Louis on Sunday.
Saints coach Sean Payton on Friday ruled out Greer, defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis and receiver Lance Moore for the game against the Rams. Greer pulled his groin against Carolina last weekend. Ellis has a sprained right knee and Moore a left ankle injury. NFL interception leader Darren Sharper, who sat out Wednesday's practice with left knee soreness, practiced on a limited basis Thursday and Friday and was listed as questionable. Starting center Jonathan Goodwin (ankle) returned to practice on Friday and also was listed as questionable. Linebacker Scott Fujita (left calf) was listed as probable. still worry about the run with Ellis out. |

Time to see what Jenkins has as a corner. Good experience for him.

Re: Friday injury report
I won't be as worried about Ellis not being in the game if Fujita is able to come back and play this weekend. Our run game has been subpar with both of them out of the lineup. I'm looking forward to watching Jenkins play this weekend. Some people sound a little skeptical about the game this weekend, not me.

Re: Friday injury report
I"m not the less bit worried that Greer won't play this week. Its the Rams and Payton will have the team focused on destroying them plus Jenkins gets a chance to shine

Gay starts for Greer. I don't like groin injuries...they tend to linger and debilitate more than ankles. Ankles and knees heel more predictably. I really hope they learned from Joe Horn's career ending groin and give Greer as much time to recover as he can possibly need.

We'll be alright ... it's not like Bulger will have all day to throw. I think the turf will be his best friend on Sunday.
