We all need to be Colts fans

I know some of use were rooting for New England last night so we could be the last unbeaten team, but I think we all need to be Colts fans. If you believe the refs can be biased toward producing the result the NFL wants, thinking about this: If we both win next week and are both 10-0, Roger Goodell's gonna be salivating at the possibility of two undefeated teams in the Superbowl. All the crazy, bs calls that ALWAYS go against us will all of a sudden go in our favor. Heck, Payton might actually win a challenge for once in his career!

Stop thinking about the SB, its still away off and we have a lot of work to do to get there. Doesn't matter what happens in the AFC doesn't really affect us that much.

After last night's game was glad the Colts won. Let them take most of the heat of the spotlight and Peyton get the MVP - we'll hide in the shadows.

Re: We all need to be Colts fans

I will tell you this much - with New England most likely out of the picture for home-field advantage in the AFC, one wonders if their game plan changes a bit against us in 2 weeks. They already have a comfortable lead in their division. They're still in the mix w/Cincy for a first round bye....but still...

Re: We all need to be Colts fans

Im already for the Colts. I like all things Manning.

As for the Patriots, they're tough. They're nails tough, and I'll be surprised
really, if we can beat them in 2 weeks, looking at how they played last night.
They ran all over the Colts D, gave their offense all kinds of hell. It took
Peyton Manning magic and Belichick's brainfart which equals a big choke to
a team I felt like they bested.

I welcome the opportunity to mess up the Patriots plans.

I also like all things Manning. And until we play them again I will continue to pull for them. All this talk about the SB just seems premature...as a matter of fact the whole unbeaten season is blown way out of proportion. I'm old school...One game at a time.

If an NFL fan isn't thinking about the Superbowl, what is he thinking about? Litter box training the cat? The grocery list?

We aren't on the team. We are on an internet message board. We are dangerously close to Losers. Imagining that what we think about impacts anything to do with the Saints makes us officially Losers. I'm am not crossing that line.

SUPERBOWL, BABY!!!!!! UNDEFEATED SUPERBOWL AGAINST THE COLTS, BABY!!!!

dont worry, the "losers" all hang out at a certain other internet message board we know. Everybody I know from this board has a job, a life, and doesnt sit around in a little "bunker" all day.

This had me cracking up! But yes, I was thinking the same thing. I don't care how and why we win the Superbowl, just so long as it happens. But it would be fun to have a battle of the unbeatens, BCS style

I also qualified my statement with IF you believe the refs fix games, this could be a chance to have them fixed in our favor for a change.
