Sorry, I haven't been posting, but I am traveling 20 days a month now. I have been catching up on posts and glad to see things haven't changed. Everyone is antsy about the start. I have only been able to see the Eagles game.....and have followed the stats of the others. However redundant, I must start by saying, I know this is preseason. The same concerns that I have been stating are stil very present....defense. Almost everyone was happy with what we addressed in the offseason. I was left feeling shortchanged. I now know I was shortchanged. I am hoping the Defense and Venturi both make me eat my words. Now I also have other concerns. Is anyone concerned that the offense really is doing nothing also.? I know I made a 9-7 prdeiction that got eveyone heated up. I would now like to change that to jockeying for last in the division with Carolina. Losing Vick for a few games is helpful to us in the division, be we have to capitalize on their loss. If Vick is gone and Falcons lose some games , and we cannot win, we gain nothing. Anyone else feel my anger at the fact ,I predicted, we were not drafting enough in the DB ranks....Mitchell is an injury but that is why you cover your bases, especially when you are not that strong to begin with in that position. Maybe Stinkycomb wasn't a wise 2nd pick....huh? I was the cynical idiot. On offense the team has to sometime,if it proves out,make a tough decision.....about Brooks,if in fact it is not happening. I hope we can score as many points as last season , because it looks as if we are going to need to. It would be nice to say we were not showing what we have in pre season, and we are just holding back. Realistically, does anyone buy into this theory? I will hold my 9-7 prediction although my gut tells me 8-8................
