The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 1-8 and the New Orleans Saints are 9-0, so you'd think the Bucs would avoid talking any trash about the Saints as the teams prepare to play on Sunday.

Actually, Bucs tight end Kellen Winslow is talking trash toward Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma, saying that when the two were teammates at the University of Miami, Vilma couldn't cover him in practice -- and, according to Winslow, neither could any of the other players on the Hurricanes' defense.

"You can ask Vilma man, Vilma couldn't guard me. D.J. [Williams] couldn't guard me. Sean Taylor couldn't guard me, respect, but none of those guys could guard me," Winslow said. "It is what it is. They'll tell you the same thing. Vilma probably won't, but yeah I owned those guys."

Winslow, who laughed as he said his comments were "all in fun," is having one of his best NFL seasons in his first year in Tampa Bay, with 42 catches for 454 yards and five touchdowns this year. Some Saints players may now have some extra motivation to slow him down on Sunday.
