Predict the Score... Bucs vs Saints
This is the second game of a 4 away games in 5 weeks.
As I predicted, we squeeked out a win in St Louis. This week takes us to our division rival, Tampa. They would love more than anything to knock us from the unbeaten, and they will be looking at this game as their Superbowl. Do you think the Saints finally put together a complete game as a warm up for the Patriots or will it be another tight game? |

Sharper can smell fear in a rookie QB and he eats them for a late lunch. I think we use this game as a springboard to gain momentum going into the Monday Night showdown.

Re: Predict the Score... Bucs vs Saints
I agree. Plus, Tampa has nothing to lose. The coach won't get fired after one year, and they've already benched their starting QB. They can play high-risk-high-reward football. So I can imagine them getting a lucky touchdown or two off of just heaving the ball downfield into double coverage or being in the right place at the right time to catch a batted ball. But it won't be enough to beat us, because more of those throws into double coverage will lead to us intercepting the ball, and most times their cover guys jump a route, that'll just lead to Meachem, Colston, or Henderson being wide open.

Saints -11.5 @ Bucs
Beware the home dog, beware double digit spreads in the NFL, beware the division rivalry. Smart money takes the bucs and the points. Or the three team teaser with TB, WASH (+11@DAL) and Seattle (+11@MIN) looks good. Saints win a not-as-close-as-the-score-indicates beatdown - 35-24 |

Re: Predict the Score... Bucs vs Saints
I've been predicting blowouts the last three weeks. I'm going to go the other way this time and predict a closer game and hope it isn't even close. Saints cover the spread.

Re: Predict the Score... Bucs vs Saints
Back to back road games usually don't result in blowouts. And we're most teams' Superbowl now.
We squeak one out, barely Saints - 24 Bucs - 23 |
