Re: Is Reggie Bush Being Phased Out of the Saints Offense Due to Money?
Phased out? Nah... we've just been going with the hot hand. When PT's feeling it, we give him the ball more. When Bell is running hard and gaining yards, he gets more touches. When Reggie isn't making mistakes, he gets the ball more. That's pretty much all that's to it. With that said, if by Reggie not getting enough touches diminishing his value on the open market, it wouldn't exactly be a bad thing for us. I'd love to have Reggie remain a Saint for a long time, but obviously not at the value of 8 plus million dollars a season.

Re: Is Reggie Bush Being Phased Out of the Saints Offense Due to Money?
I don't think Reggie is being limited because of money. Sean Payton knows he needs this guy to keep the offense productive. Reggie has a history of on going knee problems, and the staff understands that. To me that is why he is sometimes being limited. The Saints will need Bush to play well down the stretch and into the playoffs if they want to have a decent chance at going all the way.

Reggie is in the process of phasing himself out. He will have to take a pay cut or see what is out there for him. He is a good player that has proven to be injury prone. The only saving grace is thus far no major reconstruction. He has to be a role player and accept his fate or walk. He can help this team win but the marque sticker will never be one he wears.

BUSH has a roll on the team and the coach may have finally realized that he's not a true RB in he sense of the word , he has fumbled but he also has improved, so yes he has tapperd off but still just as affective - so he'll still be on the team with is paycut and all the other stuff that people don't like.
