Re: Strief To Start Over Bushrod
i missed the entire game.....one thing i noticed on the highlights was that strief wasnt willing to allow an inside rush......he gave brees a pocket even if he got beat on the outside
his first priority was creating a pocket by protecting his inside shoulder and then following the DE to the outside that is key to the success of a LT....bushrod couldnt do this because he got beat so often by not only the outside rush, but the bull rush as well by overcompensating to cut off the outside rush, bushrod gave up the inside far too much and it created a lot of pressure for drew |

Re: Strief To Start Over Bushrod
The only time Strief was beat was on a spin move. It hurried Drew and he was hit but no sack. Can't fault him on that one, it was a dam good move.

Re: Strief To Start Over Bushrod
Strief had a good game but Tampa's pass rush and the Pat's are 2 different levels, so we'll see. At least the Pat's can only watch one game of film on Strief.
