the difference between us and the pats is that we can adapt and overcome.....the pats lost to the bills because they dont run the ball......the pats lost to the jets because they cant run the ball

the pats lost to the colts because they cant stop good QBs

we beat the bills because we can run the ball

we beat the jets because we do run the ball

our defense is weak at stopping the run......not the pass....let brady pad his stats at the end of the game.....i dont care......as long as our victory is secured and brees gets a nice rest in the 4th qtr

If Ellis and Greer are healthy- I am going with 41-38 Saints. We drive down late for a 31 yard FG to win it

Saints 31, Patriots 24. Saints win on the last possession of the game with Brees throwing to Shockey for a touchdown as time expires.

Sharper has another interception and Moss has 2 TD's and 135 yards receiving.

Saints have a lot had a lot of injuries over the past few weeks, which has let bad teams score on us. The offense looked much more together last week even though it was the Bucs. I'd like to see the Saints establish the run game early on dictate the entire game, opening up big holes in the secondary for play-action. Would love to see Bush get touches to spread them out. You start getting them holes down field and Drew will light up their secondary. Big Sed being back will allow us to have much more success in stopping the run, giving more opportunities to use Brady as a trampoline and be more aggressive in getting pressure from the sides. I don't see this being a super high scoring game (like 45-40 or something like that). Probably low 30s, as the Saints balance is what makes them so hard to stop and keep up with. 34-24 Saints in a game that the Saints control the whole way through. The secondary will shine in this game.

It will be a fun game. The Pats will score points. It is what they do. Unfortunately for them so do the Saints.

I really want us to win but if we lost, I'd rather us get blown out. It would slap us in the face, keep us grounded, make us work harder, and put everything in perspective. We're bound to lose a game or two... and I rather lose early and get red hot towards the end of the season.

I'm using my daughter's basketball score from last week - Saints over Pats 26-2. Still unsure if the Pats safety is a miscue on the Saints part or a 4th quarter defensive precaution.

I'm sticking with my original assessment at the beginning of the season. The Pats will win this one, and it will only get close in the 4th quarter. Brees has had a problem with turnovers. He's shooting the ball at the numbers instead of hitting the receivers' eyes, which have caused deflections and ints. He's also going to get a steady dose of alternating zone blitz and 8 DB's. He'd better know when to hand it off and which direction to run.

The game will be won up front. Run stop and pass rush will carry the day. The QB thing is interesting: Brady's edge is Wes Welker. If we take him away, we'll destroy NE. If Lance Moore plays, game over...everything will click for us tonight. 34-20 ... the winner will have the best ground attack with the least turnovers.

im less worried about this game than i was about the rams game.....but not because i think the pats are scrubs

its because the pats dont run the ball.....they pass the ball in single coverage to moss or to a crossing wes welker

thats their offense in a nutshell

when brady gets pressured he makes mistakes.....we blitz like crazy and it will make the pats move the ball slowly and meticulously down the field......but history shows they arent patient enough to sustain a drive....they are all about going deep and throwing for first downs rather than checking down and moving the ball like we do

sharper will increase his TDs in this game but i dont know if it will be by only 1 or 2 or 3

Wow! So, I got half the score right. My guess was 20 - 17, Saints.

I just thought the Pats D was a lot better than they played last night. I thought they'd get more pressure on Brees and keep our score way below our season average. It's a rare occurrance, but I am SO happy to be wrong!!
