this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; SP called a Double Reverse in the Miami game if I am not mistaken... I would also think he would not want to "show his hand" with 5 games left after this, but want would it do for the "Team ...

SP called a Double Reverse in the Miami game if I am not mistaken...
I would also think he would not want to "show his hand" with 5 games left after this, but want would it do for the "Team mentality". This is probably the least important game as far as post season seeding goes that the Saints have left. No seeding has been decided yet and it could come down to one game in the NFC. It's Still - "One Game at a Time", but a BLOW OUT would be really nice...and the TARGET on the Saints would only be bigger for the remaining games. |

I think teams like the Giants & Jets bought too much into the hype that we they could beat us, and they clearly weren't ready to play the 2009 Saints (I think they both thought they were playing the 2008 Saints). And the Panthers, Dolphins, and Rams seem to buy too much into the hype that we were ripe for an upset and couldn't close the deal. So I think if we "squeak by" New England by less than 10 point, Dallas will come into the Dome cocky and overconfident (OK, they were going to do that anyway) and we'll smash them, and then when the Vikings or who ever comes into town for the playoffs, let the media hype them up too so they can be overconfident that they can throw into tight coverage, run on 3rd and 5, leave Shockey 1-on-1 with a linebacker, and assume Reggie is no threat. I kinda like us being the wolf in sheep's clothing.

I dunno. I'd prefer to see us run it down their effin throats and keep Brady and Welker (and Moss) pouting on the bench.

No way this will be a blow out. How can Canton even suggest this when he is predicting a low scoring game. But would it be nice certainly! I agree with SaintFan and and bring it to them with the ground game keep Brady on the sideline and make him desperate. This will be the way we will see him make mistakes and take chances. We have the advantage of having quality depth this year that can wear them down. The last team that puts points on the board will prevail in this game.

I hope big SE is back, as well as greer. If Greer is out- it might be a long day. SE would be huge though.
Yeah to the guy above who said it first: running it down their throats would be really nice- cause then you are just showing who wants it!! |

Heck yes I want a blow out. I want to see their owner upset and mad while flipping off our fans with both hands. I want to see my enemy driven bvefore me and to hear the lamendation of their women. Give me a blow out.

i think we win convincingly just like we did against dallas a few years back.....our team is very good and it has shown during every game this season.....even when we are beaten down....completely demoralized.....and the game is out of hand.....we still come back and win there is no lead that is insurmountable.....there is no team that is unbeatable.....the is nobody that can stop us |
