"Brewski" picks the pats

So does Demarcus Worn Out. Good. I hope everyone on espn picks the pats to win. In fact, with the exception of Ditka, and Tom Jackson, I have a feeling everyone else will. Last time they did that..... hmmmm... I think was when we played the Giants. I remember that game rather fondly.

Now I want to completely destroy the Pats. 48-20 final score!

Re: "Brewski" picks the pats

We'll let the Saints do the talking for us. Even Steve Young said the Saints would have to beat the Patriots for him to call them elite or the best team in the league this year. Remember the Saints are paying closer attention to what all of the analysts are saying than we are and they're already pissed.

I liked Teddy Brewski better as a player than as an announcer. I'd much rather watch him play than listen to him announce.

Re: "Brewski" picks the pats

It's simple-to be called the best you have to beat the best. The Patriots have been the best this decade and are probably the best team over the last 6 weeks. There's no disrespect in picking the established champions over the upstart hot-shots. I think Tedy Bruschi's analysis is actually pretty good if you read his articles.

I'd like to think the Saints secondary will be able to cover Moss and Welker long enough for the front 7 to get to Brady, but are we really that certain? Brady is easily the best QB the Saints have faced all year. He makes good decisions, gets rid of the ball quickly, and doesn't throw picks. This is going to be a tough, tough game and a good test of where the Saints really stand against the NFL elite. I'm not saying they won't pass the test, just that they need to pass to earn respect. A win isn't even as important as a solid showing.

Of course he would pick the Patriots, its the team in which he played his entire career ... you can tell his homerism every time he talks about them on ESPN

Good post my friend. I agree 100%. This game will be a test that I hope the saints pass. But like some others here have stated, this game is really meaningless as for as the post season is concerned. It's just a measuring stick to see if indeed we are one of the elite.

Liked Him better as a player also but nonetheless what is being said is correct. The Saints will have to win to get respect but who cares about respect or what some may say so much and putting wins on the board. At the end of the day I think the players will have their respect from the Brady Bunch.

I've heard Teddy try to add value on ESPN and its a joke!!! I started turning it off when he comes on, after he called out Bellicheat for that 4th and 2. He did that just to get attention!!!!!!

Re: "Brewski" picks the pats

Of course he did...he is a former player for the Patriots and he has turned out to be a homer for anything patriots-related. Sure, he did make some good points but I didn't expect him to actually pick the Saints to win the game. This is our squad's opportunity to show the world what they can do. Being 10-0 isn't enough...you must beat the elite when the elite comes knocking on your door...

You're just pissed because he picked against the Saints.

I could care less that he picked the Patriots, its just his homerism screams louder then a polka dotted suit at the prom. At least try to act unbiased if you're on a national station

...I don't know... This may be a "good" game for the Saints to lose. Not that I want to see them lose, I would love to see them make Brady cry on national TV.. I just got this hunch, this is the first Saints-Pats game of 2 this season, and I'd rather see the Saints make Brady cry the second time around.

Ok if Brewski is taking the Pats I'll take the Saints

Re: "Brewski" picks the pats

Brewski has been anti-saint, ever since he misunderstood Reggie's comments about going undefeated this year. He seems to be on a mission to see us lose, which I guess considering the Pats went undefeated in the regular season, even though they blew the big game, makes sense. It will make it even better when we win.

Oh yeah, and to correct my first post, it was Wiley, not Ware, that picked the Pats. I don't know why, but I always get those two mixed up. Sorry.

there is never a "good" game to lose no matter how many quotations you put around it

its just not true

this game is important to not only the saints, but the media, and the fans

im not one of those people that want us to fly under the radar......some of you guys down in new orleans are ok with that but in ohio i dont get enough saints.......i only get the occassional conversation on ESPN where they talk about how much the minnesota brett favres are so much better

i want everyone to know how powerful my saints are this year and i know some of the saints are lookin at this game as a game to prove they deserve to be at the top of the football world

true....its not about how many games you win, just which games you win

but there is no such thing as a good loss no matter how many ways you spin it.....nfl players dont get complacent....especially with a target on their backs

it wont matter how "good" we lose this game anyway because its not going to happen....this game is gonna be over before tom brady can say injured reserve
