"Brewski" picks the pats
So does Demarcus Worn Out. Good. I hope everyone on espn picks the pats to win. In fact, with the exception of Ditka, and Tom Jackson, I have a feeling everyone else will. Last time they did that..... hmmmm... I think was when we played the Giants. I remember that game rather fondly.
Now I want to completely destroy the Pats. 48-20 final score! |

We'll let the Saints do the talking for us. Even Steve Young said the Saints would have to beat the Patriots for him to call them elite or the best team in the league this year. Remember the Saints are paying closer attention to what all of the analysts are saying than we are and they're already pissed.

I liked Teddy Brewski better as a player than as an announcer. I'd much rather watch him play than listen to him announce.

Re: "Brewski" picks the pats
It's simple-to be called the best you have to beat the best. The Patriots have been the best this decade and are probably the best team over the last 6 weeks. There's no disrespect in picking the established champions over the upstart hot-shots. I think Tedy Bruschi's analysis is actually pretty good if you read his articles.
I'd like to think the Saints secondary will be able to cover Moss and Welker long enough for the front 7 to get to Brady, but are we really that certain? Brady is easily the best QB the Saints have faced all year. He makes good decisions, gets rid of the ball quickly, and doesn't throw picks. This is going to be a tough, tough game and a good test of where the Saints really stand against the NFL elite. I'm not saying they won't pass the test, just that they need to pass to earn respect. A win isn't even as important as a solid showing. |

Re: "Brewski" picks the pats
Of course he would pick the Patriots, its the team in which he played his entire career ... you can tell his homerism every time he talks about them on ESPN
