Have been a fan since I was 7 and I'm 49 now. I've been here since the beginning. We used to listen to the games on the Radio most of the time because they wouldn't show them on TV. My Dad used to work for the police department and that gave me the opportunity to meet Ed Hargett, Tom Dempsey, Archie Manning, Danny Abramowicz and alot of other Saints in the early days.

Euphoria

Yall are going to make me feel really old with this post. I was born the year they played their first game. My earliest memories watching when I was about 5 watching Archie. I was amazed watching him pull off some of the most craziest passes and plays.

They were the only team that could get the ball in the Redzone and then have a fumble to it seemed like everyone on the field had touched it at one point and end up recovering it for a 4th and 68 yards to go.

In the same game you would see Manning trow the ball to a WR laying on the ground in the endzone with two defenders standing on either side of him. That you don't throw nor complete and they would. You have to wonder if Archie was on another team he would have been every bit of what Payton was.

Oh they were bad but you still watched. I think thats what makes this team really special its about the fans no matter what show up and watch your team. They are our team, apart of our very fiber of being and apart of our cajun culture. I mean the paper bags were fun not disrespectful. I don't fans that after a few losses they all jump ship or stop watching or following the team until next year. Its not about a all or nothing or no point in watching... its about sharing a love affair with our history and culture. Thats why people get bitter when there is talk of moving the Saints if you take the Saints away you might as well tell us we can't have Gumbo any more either.

10-0 or 0-10 you know I am there watching the game no mater where I am.
