Re: Belichick's 3-4 Defense
Look, jn671 we have faced great offenses in the past. Colts, Rams, 07 Cowboys, and etc. Its not going to change anything. And you have to remember, its not the recievers in NO that we are worried about, but its the QB that makes these guys effective. But there is nothing like disrupting routes and playing tough, smart and physically football to crash a party on Monday Night. Now, in the past Bodden has been beat, but so have all players.. I mean, Harrison has been beat when he was in SD, Moss wasn't effective in Oakland, Vrabel was average in Pittsburgh and Ted Washington was good but not great with his former teams so that whole Bodden has been beat thing is meaningless with all due respect. It means nothing. Patriots aren't about the past, but about renewing and fine tunning talent that is visible, and that is potentially there. And Tyrone Wheatley did a good job against Reggie Wayne before he got hurt in that one game, showed me alot. Those young guys can cover and work together better than any secondary in the league back there. And as afr as no pressure often, well you don't know what to expect from our Game plan, thats the whole idea of how we do business. But pressure can be expected. And last but not least you say - Moss deep, Welker underneath, and run game non existent. Well as of late, the run game to me is back, and the passing plays are too, especially with the emergence of Welker clone Julian Edelman. So its more than what you think but oh well, who am I telling lol. Will be a good game and measuring stick for New Orleans.

Re: Belichick's 3-4 Defense
We have 3 rings, what do you guys have? Lucky you have an offense that was able to come back in some of those games. But that crap will not work against us. Been in too many big games and have beaten too many big dogs for that.

Re: Belichick's 3-4 Defense
LOL, Great story this year but reality will hit tommorow night. And no ring for this season yet but we will. Fred Taylor will get him one, especially having never been to a probowl. Moss you know will def get him one along with Seau barely missed it back in 07.

your team is 7-3 and should be worse.....you beat the bills by 1 we have won every game except 1 by double digit points.....the rams coming off a bye week the patriots do nothing more than pass the ball 40 times a game that will not win against the most oportunistic defense in the league we average 3 turnovers per game on defense and have more INTs than any team through 11 weeks and are 2nd without playing this week yet....the bills have 1 more after intercepting chad henne 3 times today the patriots defense is not #1 in anything....but really it doesnt matter what rank your defense is because we laid a big ass 48 burger on the #1 defense in week 6 |
