(wanna merge w/ "whos at dome?" mods? So What's New Orleans Like About Now???
Just wondering. I can pretty much guess, based on what I saw before the Falcon game. My producer also tracks New Orleans traffic, and I had to tell him while ago, why the Twin Spans, Causeway, and CCC conditions were backward right now.
Whats it look like, yall? |

Re: So What's New Orleans Like About Now???
I knew it would be nuts. My producer tracks traffic in 10 major cities, and
New Orleans afternoon road conditions are all backward, right now, as if a river was flowing the wrong way. He just doesnt grasp it. I try to explain, but he doesnt get it. I told him to start inputting cautionary info after noon today, but here in Houston, the Texans can have a game, and you can be COMPLETELY unaware there is an NFL event going on here. For the Falcons game, I remember all the traffic coming in from the Westbank, everyone decked out in black and gold, the car-flags, whooping, honking, helicopters over the Dome, tailgates under the freeways, people everywhere. Looks like the city got shut down early. mods, if yall want to merge this with "Anyone At the Dome Now", it wouldnt hurt my feelings at all. |

Im bummed for not being able to go to the Pats game, although I have some outstanding WhoDats, or should I say Hou-Dats, here in H-town,
where we pretty much own our bar, to watch all the action, and yell our a$$es off, like we were there. We'll be back to N.O. in a couple of weeks, and its gonna be off-the-charts. |

Funniest thing I heard while exiting the Dome was a boisterous group of Saints fans shouting to the Pats fans:
Show us those RINGS babyyyyyy!!!! LOL This was my 4th game of the year (and I live in Atlanta) and the feeling was so different it almost felt like we expected to win. The storms during the day were definitely a damper, but we had a blast anyway. Side note: Stayed at The Windsor Court Hotel and after the game was with a group at the upstairs bar and ran into Rita Benson Leblanc!! I know, I know... But I had about 6 gin & sodas too many and didn't want to make an ass out of myself. lol I'll tell you this, she looks really good in person. |

Well, normally I don't tell tales out of school, but let me put it to ya this way:
After the Panthers game I walked into Scores with a couple friends. There was a dude (decked out in Saints gear) motorboating a stripper (wearing a Saints cowboy hat) and a crowd of people around him screaming "Who Dat!" Craziest **** I've ever seen. |
