I like the move in a way because it kind of gave us respect! Yes, you beat us bigtime, props to a good football team that is amazing.

Why do you see teams down by 10 with 1:30 to go calling timeouts and onside kicking? With a Brady / Belichek team, 21 points in 5 minutes is not unheard of.

I think it speaks to a child-like mentality where if "I can't have my way, I'm going to take my ball and go home". Again, I can't see Peyton Manning doing this.

How much did you really have to drink? 21 points in less than 5 minutes... give me a break. To call them clowns for that is an absolute joke. Go catch some ZZZ dude, you'll see how ridiculous that sounds tomorrow. Of course anything is possible... but the risk by far outweighs the reward.

Belichick hugged SP! He looked like he was about to cry, but he did it.

DUDE, if they're as good as their heads think they are...that should be no big deal.

Yes, but what you're missing is that it's more than the actual points that matter. It's the "don't give up" attitude that coaches try to instill in their teams. It's a mentality.

Sorry, I still say that Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, or any other top QB/Coach combination in this league would have never done that.

Look at the Falcons game. We were up to them by double digits with like 2 minutes left in the game. A FG, converted on-side kick and they were within a hail mary heave and 2 pt conversion of tying the game. The Patriots offense had way more time than that and is FAR more potent than the Falcons. 21 points for those dudes in 5 minutes is nothing. We could have fumbled the ball like we did againts ATL, onside kick, etc ad the next thing you know they're back in it.

I could understand it if it was 28+ points, but three scores isn't that much. The Colts got three TD's in less than 2 minutes against the Texans on Sunday. Maybe they should have pulled Manning?

ETA: This is also the same club that left their starters in to pad their stats when they were up by 40+ against the Titans. You can't tell me that it's all about avoiding injuries when you pull crap like that.

Let's also not forget, that game (Titans) was played in the snow, which would have increased the chance for injury to a star vs. playing in a dome.

We could've beaten the Saints, but I couldn't find the Saints' practice film

Sincerly,
Bill Belichick
