power rankings
normally i dont care about power rankings..some on this board have a 3 letter word for the PR's..BUT...after Indy barely got by the Pats, they leapfrogged us in the rankings..the SAINTS destroyed the pats but i bet we still get ranked #2..maybe #3 behind the vikes...There will be some excuse why the pats lost(we didnt win)..Brady had a pulled muscle or gas or something...Bellicheck planned to lose so his team could slip into the playoffs under the radar...What do you think the excuses will be? and what was that word for the power rankings?

Re: power rankings
"Not that the Patriots defense is anything special. Anybody who ripped Belichick for going for it on fourth-and-2 against the Colts near the 2-minute warning instead of giving his defense a try should reconsider their stance. New England’s defense is in transition and fraught with problems that come with youth in key positions"...from yahoo sports

Re: power rankings
Only a complete dope would not rank this team as the best in football right now.
What we saw last night was not a win, it was a flaming football clinic against a coach that is considered to be one of the best all time and a QB that has the same reputation. |

Re: power rankings
Pat fans are saying that they stunk more than the Saints are that good. It is evenly split that they think the Viks are the better team.
I'm sure some sportscaster is going to say that the Vikings are the class of the NFC and that the Colts are the class of the AFC and the Saints are some where in between. I might not show up in the power rankings, but it will be heard on ESPN this week. USA Today computer power rankings still have us #2 behind the Colts based on strength of schedule. Oddly they still have the Pats as the #3 team at 7-4 ahead of #4 Minnesota. USATODAY.com |
