Depth is over-rated also. Its all realitve, who ever is in the game has to make plays period. Brees gets hurt we'll see how is talking depth then. |

That's what this board has been since I joined it, when did that change? ![]()
How boring would this place be, if all we do is come in and talk stats all the time? And depth over rated? Are you serious? COME ON MAN! |

Re: First Take....
Well that doesn't make any sense. Why not just go sign a bunch of Joe Blows off the street as our backups.

Re: First Take....
ok, i have some stats myself. The Saints have 1489 rush yards, split between Bell, Thomas, and Bush. The Vikes have 1329, between Peterson, and their back up, with Peterson having 1084 by himself. That means the back up, has only 208 yards on his own. Now, if we are going to say, that if Brees goes down, we would be hurting, you will also have to say the same about Peterson. Either way, we still have more rushing yards, total, and our backs stay fresher longer, because it's not all on one guy to make it happen.
The only edge, that Minnesota has on us, is their D-line, I will give them that, but that's it. Would it be a good game, yes, but over all better than us, is ridiculous. |

Re: First Take....
So I never do this type of thing but I just had to send an email to that TOOL, and since they wouldn't post it on the show I will post it here for your viewing pleasure.
"So all last week Who Dat nation had to listen to some of your joke NFL 'analysts' talk about how the Saints defense would be no match for New England, especially the secondary, and then what happened? They Saints dominated the passing game of Tom Brady and destroyed the Pats. Now, instead of giving the Saints props we have to deal with talk about the Vikings being more complete? You are a joke!" |

Re: First Take....
Excellent mail bro. Doubtful they will even care. ESPN is the VH1 of sports reporting. They are more worried about creating drama, out of situations, instead of just reporting the facts. Like yesterday, reporting something about Tiger Woods, that they read off the TMZ website. What's that all about? What's next, reports from myspace?
