lets talk about the redskins
so what are you guys thinking about the game?
saints are probably 100 point favorites and rightfully so but many "experts" are predicting yet another trap game.....i guess those are all that we play this season anyway the redskins are down to their 3rd string RB with clinton portis out with a concussion and ladell betts being placed on IR chris cooley is on IR albert haynesworth is questionable to play right now but has missed the past 2 games with an injury....either way there is no way he will be 100% and he'll need to be against carl nicks and jahri evans over the past few games jason campbell has thrown nearly 40 times per game because they cant run without portis and their starting running back, rock cartwright, has averaged only 48 yards per game over the past 3 when he has been the feature back their defense is allowing a league leading 170 passing yards per game....this might have to do with them giving up the lead very early and being blown out their rush defense is ranked 25th and their offense is statistically at the bottom of the league in nearly every category but.....knowing all that.....and knowing how we play against weak opponents.....does anybody think they can keep up at all? |

Didn't they give DAL and PHI a scare? How did they do it?
How is their pass rush? I don't think you can stop Brees from getting 35 points without a very good rush. They're scoring what? 12 points per game? Even if their offense has improved, it doesn't look good for the 'Skins. |

Re: lets talk about the redskins
When we had that poll on who would be our toughest opponent for the rest of the season, I picked the Redskins. When it appears that the opponent doesn't have a chance in the world (like the Philly/Oakland game earlier this year for one), that's when surprises happen. I've always felt RFK is a tough place to play and I think it's going to be more difficult than it looks on paper.
