Its obvious we dont need him to win, but I am going to be pretty sad to see him go after everthing he has done off the field and his big plays on the field, hopefully we help him get a ring if he is leaving. He deserves that.

Let's get the Lombardi first and worry about it after that.
Frankly, my biggest worry is that with his contract / salary status, no team will want to trade for him, knowing that if he is unwilling to renegotiate his deal that we would be forced to cut him loose and then he'd hit the open market. I'd consider a mid-high 2nd round pick for him or perhaps a pass rushing DE or young LB. |
