Saints D, 22 interceptions...

on the season, with five games left to go. Anyone know, what the current record for most interceptions, by a defense in one season is? I tried looking it up, but could only find most interceptions by a single player in a season.

Most Touchdowns, Returning Interceptions, Season
9 San Diego, 1961
8 Seattle, 1998
7 Seattle, 1984 & St. Louis, 1999

I believe that is right. Sharper (3), Greer, and Porter.
