Leaky rush defense? We gave up under 100 yards rushing today and were playing without our 2 starting CB's and our starting strong side LB.

Yeah the MIGHTY Vikings got the crap kicked out of them tonight. The Saints are a great team. As in ALL TIME GREAT. Sorry pal, but you should watch the whole season before you open your mouth and sound like a complete moron.

Re: Saints exciting but they won't last...
Guys, I'm speaking from experience here,
Don't let other peoples stupidity get the better of you. When the Patriots won their 1st SB many opposing fans and bloggers said the same thing, that the Patriots were not as mighty as they 'pretend' to be. Every year since, the comments abounded that the Patriots would not be able to go better than 8-8. Although this season they just might , it's been 10 long, successful seasons. When someone makes statements like this one, ignore them. Getting yourself upset does nothing positive. Let the team speak for itself. I guess I'm saying that, when your team is on the top of the pile, expect the opposing fan bases, and most of those media 'experts' to do nothing but attempt to find all the negatives, truthful or not, and it's only because they are jealous of your team's success. The hardest time you will have will be to hold back on your responses to them. If you don't respond, they will eventually go away. I also remember that there were too many victories in all those successful seasons that wore PatriotsNation down. Whether you win by 20 in an easy game or squeak out a win at the last minute by one, it's still a win, and that's all that counts. Good luck. Continue on. |

Re: Saints exciting but they won't last...
"They have given up 30 points to both the Dolphins and Redskins, conceded 20+ in eight games, and increasingly rely on their quarterback or turnover-happy defense to win them games."
----And this is bad? Relying on the rest of the team to win games? "Even worse, it appears they have barely been tested: Wins against the Eagles, Giants and Patriots are the best pelts in the Saints' collection, but none of those teams have fewer than four losses." ----Um, 8-4 is a pretty good record, and they would be 9-3 if they had beaten us They have a host of players on their second or third teams on this unit (Darren Sharper, Jonathan Vilma, Scott Fujita, Mike McKenzie, Chris McAlister) ----does this make sense? Sharper & Vilma are not starters? Last one: This run will end, probably at the hands of a more powerful Vikings team in the NFC playoffs, but it will be exhilarating until the last second. ----I hope the Vikings like jumbalaya and zydeco. C U down here on the 24th |
