Where is the defense?
I think we all agree. The Saints need to bring pressure on the rookie qb. Make his life that day a living hell. I understand they have to protect Fred, but they have to protect the offense to with the injuries on offense, mainly Stallworth, they don\'t have the speed to blaze past Washingtons corners.Hopefully they\'ll give the Redskins a hefty dose of Deuce. And bring on the blitz. Put pressure from the ends and linebackers.

Where is the defense?
I think our defense tends to get worn down because our offense scores so quickly. We do need to blitz Ramsey as much as possible. He has not seen many of the NFL`s complicated zone blitz packages yet(and neither has Spurrier). I think our defense will be able to keep them out of the end zone enough for us to walk away with a win.

We should play man-up 70% of the time or more and smack these guys in the mouth off the line of scrimmage. Gardner is the only one we should ever have to double up or play man over on. Look, our CB\'s aren\'t that great but they can handle these guys. Our LB\'s should tap dance all over Ramsey and their RB\'s. Especially with Davis nicked up. On another note...if you have no tape to game plan a QB then game plan the WR\'s. Oh yeah, and a little tackling technique drill or 2 during the week along with a \"this is how you defense a screen play\" wouldn\'t hurt. Of course, none of this will take place. We\'ll play zone A LOT. Their WR\'s will find cubby holes here and there and run inside slants all day long along with sending at least one guy that Spurrier likes to run a skinny post on most plays and this will be a high scoring game folks. Once again, take the over on this game.

John 'Bluto' Blutarsky: Christ. Seven years of college down the drain. Might as well join the f@$%ing Peace Corps. |

Where is the defense?
What is the deal with our defense and screen plays. Pittsburgh ate us alive with the screen play. Most of them seemed to go to Sedrick\'s side. When they ran it on Darrin\'s side he stopped em cold. It makes me wonder if Pittsburgh realized they could exploit Sedrick\'s inexperience. Sedrick\'s a good player and it seems he is very capable of improving on his mistakes. I hope he got deep into the film this week. I think tackling drills are in order and can someone tell me why it doesn\'t seem like Clemons is as big a presense as he has been in the past. I know he is third on the team in tackles but he just doesn\'t seem to be making a lot of noise over the last couple of games. Are the opposing offenses scheming him better or has he got some nagging injury that\'s holding him back. I\'m just waiiting for the guy to become that premier middle LB I think he can be.
