Re: Proof Reggie reads Black and Gold!!!
Well the safeties were certainly left hanging with the Chuckie blitz being called multiple times without getting to the QB.

Re: Proof Reggie reads Black and Gold!!!
yer i know what mean, when you've got a future hall of famer in a TE like gonzalez and all he is doing is peeling into the flats uncovered you can't afford to keep sending multiple blitz, including corner blitz cuz they just kept hitting underneath stuff and gaining loadsa yards

Re: Proof Reggie reads Black and Gold!!!
I don't know if that second TD was called for him or the result of a broken play but I was surprised because I expected SP to take him out after that fumble.....then he scored on the very next play

Payton seems to be using Bush a lot more around the goal line.

Re: Proof Reggie reads Black and Gold!!!
I hope we keep Bush personally, Yes he needs to take a pay cut...But I like what he brings to the table when he's out there playing well...
I think he tries a bit to hard at times, needs to relax and let the game come to him. I would hate to see him go somewhere else and be an impact. I think he we be here and take a cut in pay, but I guess time will tell and I'm not too concerned about that while we are 13-0! |

Re: Proof Reggie reads Black and Gold!!!
I think he needs to get pissed more often. He was basically pulled from that game last weekend and I think that motivated him.
I saw Charles Grant get pulled out at one point today. Maybe he will benefit from the same kick in the pants. |

Re: Proof Reggie reads Black and Gold!!!
Reggie even broke a tackle and got good yards after getting free. He was turning up the field hard with what looked like an ascerted effort to get positive yards out of each run. He looked good. On the fumble he never really had it at the exchange, and when he tried to secure it, it got away...then he sold out to get back on it, and didn't try to scoop it up (like a rookie) and really bungle things up. Two years ago, youthful exuberance and panic would have turned that 10 yard loss into a 30 yard loss - Our boy is becoming a MAN. Now if he can just keep that ball tucked against his torso (ala Duece), we'd be batting a thousand.
