this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I didn't have the advantage of multiple replays, but it looked to me like there were several blown PI calls and no-calls today. We were given a couple, but Colston got mugged in the end zone. Anyone have a thought ...

Interference Calls
I didn't have the advantage of multiple replays, but it looked to me like there were several blown PI calls and no-calls today. We were given a couple, but Colston got mugged in the end zone.
Anyone have a thought on Grimes' non-interception? I thought he pushed off too early and that's why he got the flag. Everyone around was screaming 'he was going for the ball'. True, but he ran through a guy to get it |

Grimes pushed off, and it was not an interception. Over the course of the game, judgment call balance themselves out. Saints pulled out another one because they know they will. That's how a team avoids whining about refs. |

Re: Interference Calls
well they had a legit complaint about the spot. The one play that spot was absolutely terrible, and they had a legit complaint, but calls go both ways most of the time

Re: Interference Calls
I might not have called interference on Grimes but it definitely was illegal contact which would have been a 1st down anyway only difference was the penalty yards.

Re: Interference Calls
After that no-call offensive pass interference on Roddy White during the Monday Night game, they owed us a few anyway LOL...

Re: Interference Calls
.. tell the Clowns to look at it as payback on the Roddy White TD in the Dome and move on.
