First let me just get it out of the way:

I know you hate me, I know you hate the Cowboys. You likely hate everything Jerry Jones, our stadium is a big top circus. We haven't had a playoff win in 13 years. I'm fairweather, I'm a bandwagoner. Our coach is a cup cake eating bozo and our OC is a moron who can't call a decent game, our QB is a big game choke artist... *gasp*

That out of the way, looking forward (Or maybe I'm not) to this Saturday. I don't think we'll win, but I'm blindly hopeful. Even if our season turns out badly I can only pray that Fatman Phillips and CO get kicked to the curb. But a good consolation prize would be to knock off your team.

I'm in Cowboy country in NW Louisiana, and your compadres have already greased the pan and are waiting for the fire to get hot. They have pretty much tossed this season and are willing to settle for this game as their panacea for 09'. We hope that we stomp a mudd hole in yall's star. We've been awfully kind this season to the poor huddled masses of lower echelon teams by allowing them to hang around and walk away with some level of satisfaction with their losing efforts. We have none of those hopes for you guys. Nothing against Jerry, Wade, Tony, or the other guys .... its the Cowboy fans that make us want to see them get crushed to powder. No graciousness from you guys win or lose. I hope its over by halftime and just gets more brutal after that.

Cowboys are the Yankees of the NFL. Gotta cheer for the team that wants it more, rather than uses history in which no active player has taken part (save for the 15 seasons of futility in December.)

I'm living in Nacogdoches in Deep East Texas two hours from Natchitoches, so I feel ya. I can understand why it's Cowgirl country here (although I'm starting to see a surprising number of Saints jerseys worn by patrons at the local Walmart and Kroger), but it would be infuriating to be anywhere in Louisiana and be surrounded by Cowgirls fans. If the Girls play like the over-hyped, untested, December chokers they have become, we will crush their fragile egg-shell minds. And it will be glorious to once again revel in our defeat of them. It would make something like 4 or 5 victories over them in a row, would it not?

I believe the Saints have beaten the Cowboys the past 4 head to head games (including one where Jake Delhomme was the Saints' starting QB).

I actually didn't mind the Cowboys, up until Jerry ran Jimmy Johnson out of town. Seems like the Cowboys have been an annoying soap opera (or in this day, an annoying reality show) since then.

I still don't think people, fans and non-fans of Cowboys, and the media have been able to get over that. I can't imagine it would be much better if Payton won a few SB's then was run out by Benson. It would be brutal.

Like most teams the Cowboys have some good fans, and some who act like SOB's. And the Cowboys, like Chicago Bulls, have a larger than usual amount of fairweather fans, making them repulsive.

Yeah, I grew up in Texas watching the Dallas Cowboys play football with my Dad. I agree that Jerry Jones runs a circus....it's just funny to watch now.
