Playoffs are a different animal, but remember that the Eagles were the "hot team" when they visited the Dome in the 2006 Divisional Playoffs.

Wasn't a blowout, but we took care of business. We will do it again if they come to NO.

Parity does not mean mediocrity.

Any NFL team now would beat the snot out of the best NFL team from 30 years ago. The athletes are bigger, faster, quicker and better coached. Techniques are light years ahead of the old NFL.

Drew Brees is a stunning example of this. He is an expert at placing the ball exactly where he wants to. He makes quarterbacks of yesteryear look amateurish.

The old NFL was a rougher game in all respects. Today's NFL is a polished machine filled with athletes dedicated to nothing but football.
