The field itself will reach it's warmest point just before sunset in the stadium. The turf may actually be a bit warmer 2 hours after sunset than at 1 PM in the afternoon. Hard to say without knowing the weather for the day.
But in any case, Charlotte averages highs in the 50's and lows in the 30's in January so it is not likely to be cold enough to affect a football game. |
