this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Sorry everyone, but I just gotta say it. These run run pass-run run pass calls to start games have got to go out the window. Anyway, 13-1...still lovin it!...

Re: Jenkins
Yeah this was ghey in the worst way to lose to the Cowboys. I'm out of beer and I'm mad.
Jenkins will be fine - he shouldn't have to be starting like this if Greer wasn't hurt. |

Re: Jenkins
I don't know if you can coach-up Jenkins' deficiency. The Saints always intended to TRY him at CB, but switch him to safety if he didn't work out at CB. He is a good tackler, and adequate in coverage, so I think he can be an excellent safety, but I doubt he'll ever be more than a dime at CB. I think he'll take Sharper's place in a year or two. He's definitely a playmaker, so I want him to get on the field. I think we need to draft a CB next year. We still need an WLB, run-stuffing DT, and CB to round out our defense. Also need another LT.

Re: Jenkins
lapaz: ellis is missed, and makes a difference, jenkins should move to safety, we have jammal and a cb would be waste of a pick, cuz they dont do shyt they rookie year... take a wlb and we may have somethin special

Re: Jenkins
Its not that Jenkins is only slow..he's always out of position..thats being a rookie..that can be fixed with coaching..but you cant coach speed.
