Best thing of the night- TP is back. Worse thing, we can't run the ball. We needed Bush at the end, his speed was surely missed.

I have np losing, and I have no issue giving the Cowboys the credit for winning. I have no issue with their fans being happy, and excited. It was a huge win for them. Can someone explain to me why their all mouth now though, and where they were the last two weeks? Ahhh, boy their fans have to be, by far, the most delusional!

I disagree. Now these guys - players and coaches alike - know they can lose a game at home, and that the ball is not going to bounce their way 100% of the time.

Dallas tried to help us out a lot at the end, so the ball did bounce our way. WE simply didn't take advantage of a few breaks, because Dallas created their own breaks. Anyway, the best thing about this loss is that our guys will no longer be focusing on going undefeated. It is now MUCH less likely that there will be any undefeated team in the Superbowl, because Indy will rest their starters since they have everything sown up.

a good thing is that we got porter back, even today, in his first game back, he was our best corner. I think when he and greer are back in the line-up (along with sed) our defense will be as good as it's been all year.
also moore is starting his return, he is key, our version of wes welker.
cowboys played a good game, they deserved to win, if we are a great team, which everyone here knows we are, we'll bounce back.
here's to meeting back up with dallas in the playoffs and destroying them.

I hope we know now that we need to be on the gas pedal from the opening kickoff. No more depending on the defense and and Drew to bail us out of opening half deficits.

Go kick the crap out of TB and Carolina and re-establish momentum going into the playoffs.

1st good thing, now we HAVE to play starters against Tampa & Carolina, so at least we can sweep the division. 2nd good thing, the bandwagoners jumped ship, real Saints fans left. 3rd good thing, if you teach like me or work for the government, no work next week, so we don't have to hear coworkers' jeers. Last good thing, now that the cowboys finally won a "big game" for the 1st time since Troy Akman retired, can we stop dedicating an hour of SportsCenter every night to "what the Cowboys must do"?
I feel sorry for Tampa Bay in 8 days.

Worst game I've seen them play all year. No excuses...we got it handed to us...at home...by the f---in' Boys. They definitely had more to lose than we did; they had lost 2 in a row and were on their way down. They HAD to win regardless. They showed that desperation in the first 3 quarters. However, they showed they were not a GREAT team by letting us hang around even after by beating the hell out of us for 3/4 of a game; we showed we are a GREAT team by continuing to battle all the way to the end. We could have folded tents by halfway through the 3rd quarter. 13-1 is still unbelievable. Better to lose now than in January.

Anyway... you guys have had an amazing season. Forget about the "Perfect Season" crap!!! If you guys finished at 9-7 and went all the way to the Super Bowl... the regular season would have no importance!

BOTTOM LINE... be happy with 13-1 and look towards the post season!!! 14-2 should take care of the #1 seed and then your good to go!!!

Late 90's early 00's here were absolutely Hell. Raiders fans completely took over our stadium and it was hideous!!! I'm not exaggerating when I say "it was unsafe to go to a Chargers/Raiders game." These sorry a**holes wouldn't think twice about punching a girl in Chargers colors.
It got so bad that they stopped serving alcohol after at half time... and ONLY for Chargers/Raiders games.

Now, the Raiders Suck and we have a 13 game winning streak over them!!!
You guys are 13-1 and will have fun in January!!!

You know what, at the same time, maybe this loss will get fans of other teams to stop
treating us like the retarded kid that made all of his doodies in the bowl, and stop patting
us on the head saying "good job". I for one think the hype has gotten way out of proportion!
U would have thought we were in the superbowl already with the bs surrounding this game.

I just hope this taste is even more bitter for the team, because this better not become a trend.

I can only pray that our team learned from this, especially our coach. I was very critical of his offensive play calling in prior seasons. This year he seemed to prove me wrong by calling balanced games. He ran his mouth about how he "learned" from the Tampa game where he tried to pass all day in the rain. I gave him credit in another thread for having beaten that demon.

For the last three games he has seemed to have regressed. I hope he pulls his head out and gets back to what was winning for us. I will be crushed if we waste this season and this team.

As an aside, this kind of loss does one of two things - pulls a team together or tears it apart. I don't mind saying that I'm scared. We looked totally lost yesterday and I think there are going to be recriminations in that locker room - similar to what I see on this board.

Losing a game, by a small margin, after playing ur butt off for 4 quarters is one thing.
Only playing one quarter at full bore, while playing the other 3, marginal at best is something
completely different. The saints team I watched last night didn't look hungry at all. I agree
with the play calling aspect of ur analogy whole heartedly. Running the ball on third and long
how many times? One thing I will give credit for, is that they stunk as a group. Everyone
equally stinking. Vilma was the only positive I took from this game. Shanle is terrible, and
needs to be replaced in the off season. Along with Grant. Over paid, and a huge
dissappointment.

No. What I suggested, rather, is the obvious -- that we are not indomitable, that we can lose in any given game. Some seemed to forget that over the last few weeks, become increasingly arrogant. And now they remember it. It's a simple reality check.
