Chris Mortensen: No!! That doesn't sound right! The Saints go into the season as a complete mystery though to me and many others. I have to see them as a .500 team until they show that they are ready to take the next step. There are two keys, the maturity of Aaron Brooks at QB and whether the defense can come together with some of the changes they have made. for the rest of this, please click here: http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=3920 |

Sounds like Jules has no \"family jewels\" thinking the Saints going 5 and 11. Is this guy frickin insane? Worst case scenario would be 8 and 8, and if the defense is improved by only 10% 10 and 6 is very likely.

worst case scenario is 8-8? That\'s what Chris Mortenson just predicted for them. Is he really that pessimistic?
I think a lot of people on this board need to differentiate between hopes and reality. 8-8 may be a bad year, but 5-11 is the worst case scenario. 12-4 is the best case scenario. 8-8 would be disappointing, but NOT the worst that could happen. Just like 9-7 wouldn\'t be terribly exciting. |
