Same here. I'm not letting one loss get me down, and my hopes of a Super Bowl are still pretty high. I know there are a lot of things that need to change and the team needs to get back all the injured players, but I'm not counting them out of anything....not after the season they've had thus far.

I don't see why its considered giving up to discuss the draft. Its just a topic someone
obviously wanted to discuss. I mean, the draft WILL eventually be here. It doesn't mean
anyone is giving up. Just talking here.

i know what you mean and i have nothing against it but im not talking about "giving up" in relevance to this thread topic of draft picks.. im talking about the "comments" people have left on this thread.. there seems to be a stir of emotions and im just concerned as to why were acting that sort of way.. i know that the loss to dallas was an emotional one.. yet, we cant let it deter our confidence in getting to the superbowl and of course eventually winning it.. i am not getting ahead of myself here.. i just know its our year.. so uhhh.. lets just not turn on each other and just let the weeks pass..

Re: With the 28th pick in the draft Saints select?

Agreed. I myself have made some comments, referring to last weeks debacle, that
should have been more thought through. Sometimes drunken emotions overcome
sanity. But one thing I want to say, let's not be too hard on ourselves, or each other.
As has been pointed out, that was our first loss of the season. We went 14 weeks riding
that high, so no one should be surprised, that when we crashed, there was some freaking
out. People can say what they want, now that the perfect season idea is over, but I
don't think there was one person in here, everyone being honest of course, that wasn't
completely onboard with an undefeated season.

Sometimes we get excited by the thought of something. And as it becomes more of
possibility of coming true, we almost become consumed by it. When u have low
expectations, anything higher than that will be considered a success. But when those
same expectations sky rocket way above where u thought they would be, then we tend
to get upset, when they fall short.

Disagreements are fine with me. But what bothers me lately is the lack of comradery that
has been displayed in here lately. Condescention, and personal attacks have no place here.
Especially considering that we are all supposed to be on the same team. Wasn't that
what we were making of SR for the other day?

I promise to lighten up, if everyone else does. A lot of season left to go yet. I for one
don't want it to end ever!

What's popular is not always right, and what's right is not always popular.....

Who starts these stupid threads? One loss and people throw in the towel. How have you been a saints fan for all these years and now of all years be ready to jump off the bandwagon? Sounds like a newbee fan to me.

C'mon people we need some unity in here. The bashing against one another has to stop. Since I been on here I never seen so much agression on these boards. So if you want to fight take that crap to another Saints board.
