One more game

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Tampa put a whupping on Seattle and the Panzies beat up Minnihaha! I think we win against Tampon, but not so sure at the Panzies! It's nice to know that we have HFA pretty much locked up!...

If we win against Tampa and since the undefeated talk is over, I'd be happy with the starters only playing a quarter or two against the Panthers. Get them a little bit of time to avoid rust, but get them out pretty quickly. Turn the reigns over to Brunell and the rest of the 2nd squad. I won't care if we lose the Panthers game, as long as they destroy the Bucs next Sunday!

Re: One more game

You gotta love Favre in December. Instead of gifts, gives away interceptions! yuck yuck, but seriously, I feel much better after the vikings lose, but still mad about the cowboys game. I have to wear a cowboys jersey to the bar next week, because i lost a bet. So that will be alot of fun.... yeah.....

Don't think I haven't considered suicide. It seems more honorable.... No, if the Saints had won, he would have worn the Aaron Brooks jersey I had picked out for him, so I will hold up my end. I will have my Brees on underneath of course....

Vikings did us a big favour. Get up early on the Bucs, seal the deal and rest all starters against Carolina and go to the playoffs healthy, rested and focused.

Re: One more game

I learned my lesson on this one. I will never bet on games again. Not even for a beer. I feel like I jinxed us.. I know that's ludicrous, but still...

Not only did the Vikes lost help the Saints, but that game shows that they are not as good as most thought.

Re: One more game

rest the Starters? No way. Never liked that approach. Injury is one thing but to sit them is another. Gotta let them play. Just be more liberal with your rotations. Keep them fresh yes but two weeks of rest is way to much.
