Anthony Hargrove voted Ed Block Courage Award winner by New Orleans Saints teammates

New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove was voted by teammates as this year's Ed Block Courage Award winner. Each NFL team chooses a player who exemplifies commitments to the principles of sportsmanship and courage.
"That's huge, " said Hargrove, who has made a comeback both on and off the field with the Saints after his career was halted by a series of off-the-field problems, including an arrest and drug suspensions. "Just to be thought that highly of among my peers is great.
"It's definitely a reward. Guys are seeing your efforts and hard work, and so for them to see that and believe it, I'm just truly grateful and blessed."
Former Hahnville standout Dawan Landry of the Baltimore Ravens and former LSU center Kevin Mawae of the Tennessee Titans also are recipients of the award.
