@wwltvsports: John Carney was signed as a kicking consultant today, Sean Payton said. Won't be allowed to kick for anyone else rest of yr.

thats exactly why they held him the week of the game ,because how bad would that look to see carney kicking against us in the dallas game,it would have been a bullet in payton's heart, and the whole team. i smelled a rat when i saw carney on side lines in earthware

Brees and Carney go back to the Chargers days. They seem to be really close, on and off the field. I like the idea of having Carney still with the team. He's been a soldier for us for years, and he's won us more than he's lost us. I like the move, for whatever reason.
