28. "I feel the need... the need... for speed!" To the Saints ... after consecutive (and easily explainable) meltdowns in 2001 and 2002, they look like the sleeping giants in the NFC. Remember: A.) they were never the same down the stretch after Aaron Brooks' injury; B.) they beat the Bucs twice last season (along with a host of other good teams); C.) between Brooks, Deuce McAllister and that fleet of receivers, they have more speed than anyone in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE; and D.) they beefed up a defense that wasn't so bad in the first place. I just have a feeling about these guys. (They're 40-1 to win the whole thing, by the way. Hmmmmmm.) |

Does this mean we\'ve reached our Optimism-Quota for the day?
40-1 Huh? I\'m tempted to drop 25 on that. $1000 will buy a lot of Corona. |

The Giants have a good, balanced team. And like every year, they are underrated by the fans, regardless of how much praise they get from the media.

put the bait out, and they will come...........kerry collins has left me in awe with some of the games he\'s played......he can play absolutely flawless in some, but then he has a habit of getting rattled, and falls apart..........of all places to send an alcoholic, n. o...had he not had a drinking problem (like most of us) he may have panned out......if we\'re gonna play fantasy football and the saints are one game away from the s.b. i guess the gaints can play too...........but in reality, excluding the saints, i don\'t see the gaints in the superbowl.......maybe to the playoffs and out, but who knows.....and no, i will not ask the dog............smitty

I must admit that I was pumped up a few years back when we landed Kerry \"vodka\" Collins. He is a decent QB and the Giants will probably win their division this year. I still dont think they can beat the Saints though.
